We are back up at the house looking out to the ocean and Santa Cruz Island.
We were just on Santa Cruz Island today and it is so amazing to be looking at it now from this bird’s eye view.
What a truly epic day.
One the way to Santa Cruz we were accompanied by hundreds of happy dolphins, breaching whales, sunning seals, cruising sharks, as well as countless cormorants, seagulls and pelicans.
30 seconds before the dolphins and whales appeared I said, “I can feel the dolphins and whales. They are here.” And began to call them with my special dolphin and whale calls…and then they showed their sweet selves.
When I saw them I squealed like the most blissful person on the planet.
The combination of being with the Captain of my Heart and my favorite creatures on the planet brought waves of ecstatic happiness throughout my entire being.
The water was crystal clear aquamarine blue and we could see the bottom of the ocean throughout the day.
Captain Dabney drove the boat into Painted Cave, the biggest sea cave in the world and we could hear the seals barking from deep within.
We spotted 2 bald eagles majestically perched and checking out the wonder of it all.
We sea kayaked into a magical cove and then walked up a canyon to a waterfall where we found a time capsule that Chris had written in 11 years ago when he visited that very spot.
We checked out Arches, a stunningly gorgeous rock formation that was created when the islands were forming via volcanic eruption millions of year ago. The hot gasses blew a giant hole in the molten rock as it hit the cold waters.
On the way back to the mainland we were in the presence of more giant blue whales who were powerfully slapping the surface of the sea with their tails.
When we pulled back into the harbor we met up with my sister, brother-in-law, niece and nephew and cruised down the coast. We were all so delighted and elated and laughing gratefully as we zoomed through waves. We reminisced about our childhood doing the exact same thing with our dad when we were growing up here as children of the Sea in SB.
Tears are streaming down my face as I write this because I AM SO BEYOND GRATEFUL.
We Santa Barbarans are so blessed.
Every day we have the opportunity to be on a totally unique adventure in the beyond belief beauty of Mother Nature that completely blows our minds and blasts open our Hearts.
I LOVE YOU SANTA BARBARA.
I am SO LUCKY that you are my home town.
This is Heaven on Earth.
“And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music.”
This quote by Friedrich Nietzsche keeps popping up in my consciousness lately.
The more I consciously choose Love, Compassion, Forgiveness and Gratitude the more I experience Love, Harmony, Peace and Happiness in my life.
I am finding that whatever I consciously choose to focus on is what I experience.
That might seem silly to some, but to me, it’s real because it’s happening more and more.
In the same way that you become intoxicated by wine when you drink it and it changes your consciousness, I am under the influence of the energies that I constantly ingest.
I am always listening for the sweet melodies of Love, Compassion, Forgiveness, Harmony, Beauty, Grace and Light.
And because I focus on finding these energies everywhere, everything is someone or something that I can dance with…if I choose to perceive reality in this way.
I am finding that when I am in the presence of anyone who doesn’t hear the music I hear it’s simply because they are not putting their focus on the same things that I am focusing on.
We are not tuned into the same frequency.
We are not drinking the same wine.
We are not under the same influence.
We are not listening to the same song.
And of course we might not understand each other because we are not listening to the same station.
And this is the thing….
I am deeply devoted to listening to beautiful music and I deeply want my life to be a beautiful dance and I am doing everything I can on an on-going basis to tune into the channels that uplift and inspire me.
If you don’t like the song you have been listening to over and over then simply change the station and tune into a song that uplifts you.
You are the only one who can change the channel and there are lots of stunningly gorgeous songs to listen to…
And when you do, I bet you’ll be dancing too ♥

When we stop resisting failure and remember that fumbling and stumbling as we devote ourselves to our deepest desires and big visions is totally natural, it frees us up to continue flowing our mojo in the good orderly direction of our dreams…
Don’t give up…
No matter what.
Being a fool…is cool.
All the great ones are :)))
In honor of all of our beautiful, chaotic, messy, dramatic, what the heck was I thinking slip ups…here is an onslaught of fabulous quotes about…
FALIURE —> The almighty portal to Success
I have not failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work.
♥ Thomas A. Edison
Every great work, every big accomplishment, has been brought into manifestation through holding to the vision, and often just before the big achievement, comes apparent failure and discouragement.
♥ Florence Scovel Shinn
Success consists of going from failure to failure without loss of enthusiasm.
♥ Winston Churchill
Failure is success if we learn from it.
♥ Malcolm Forbes
Don’t be afraid to fail. Don’t waste energy trying to cover up failure. Learn from your failures and go on to the next challenge. It’s OK to fail. If you’re not failing, you’re not growing.
♥ H. Stanley Judd
Failure is the key to success; each mistake teaches us something.
♥ Morihei Ueshiba
You are capable of more than you know. Choose a goal that seems right for you and strive to be the best, however hard the path. Aim high. Behave honorably. Prepare to be alone at times, and to endure failure. Persist! The world needs all you can give.

I am fresh back from a super restorative weekend in Big Sur, CA.
I was at The Esalen Institute on Thursday night floating in hotsprings water under a super clear and expansive starry sky. After a restorative night’s sleep I taught and practiced Yoga on Friday morning, meditated, soaked in the hot springs again and ate delicious greens from the garden and spent time with friends.
Later in the evening I met up with my love and we camped out by a beautiful river.
The next day we went on adventures at Pfeiffer State beach and went for a beautiful hike in the redwoods.
Throughout these 3 days whenever I meditated my Spirit told me:
The deeper your roots the more you can healthfully expand…to maintain and sustain expansion in all areas of your life, STAY GROUNDED.
I kept seeing an image of a tree with super deep roots that was super tall with expansive branches.
When we were at the beach we hiked up to the top of a giant rock formation where I saw a giant forest of vibrant green trees with a big spot of red and I just HAD to find out what the red spot was.
When we climbed down the rock formation I ran up to the forest of trees and saw that the red spot was a red kite stuck in the tree.
It was covered with the Four Directions Symbol.
Within about 15 minutes we were walking through a parking lot I found the image above of the Tree with the Four Directions on the ground.
Isn’t life wonderfully synchronistic?
The tree imagery plus the four directions symbol…I do believe life was trying to give me a very clear message:
When expanding upwards and outwards, keep your roots deep in the Earth. if you don’t stay grounded then the intelligence of life will bring you back to Earth.
Do you ever feel like that kite?
Do you ever work so hard on manifesting your vision/intentions/dreams that let go of your self-love and self-care because you don’t think you have the time or energy to take care of your foundational needs and then you get sick or injured or something happens that brings you back to Earth?
This is one of the core reasons that I created VIBRATION TRANSFORMATION
Creating and maintaining a lifestyle grounded in self-love and self-care will help you grow your greatest visions and dreams in a sustainable and healthy way so that you will feel rooted, grounded and can soar as high as a kite.
One of the greatest ways that we can nourish our roots is to spend time in Nature.
So get off this computer and go hug a tree.
If I am to be fallen into LOVE, I will.
And if as a result I will appear to be stupid, disillusioned, and of poor judgment, I will.
And I would be damned if I cared what other people think.
For I would rather be thought of as all of these things, than not LOVE.
This is my spirit.
I am unbreakable.

***********************************************************************
I am a DIVINE FOOL FOR LOVE.
I have looked deep.
I have searched long.
I have absolutely no doubt.
I EXIST TO LOVE.
And for LOVE,
I will jump off cliffs.
I will move mountains.
I will surrender my pride, reputation and image.
I am the Divine Fool for Love.
And I follow my Heart.
I follow my Intuition.
I am filled with awe and wonder and have direct contact with unjaded, untouched childlike innocence.
I have heard that only 5% of the population feels the way I feel.
If there are 7 billion people on the planet…
That means there are 350,000,000 people whose #1 devotion is LOVE.
That’s a LOT of FEARLESS RADICAL LOVERS.
And as John Lennon says,
You may say I’m a dreamer.
But I’m not the only one.
One day you will join us.
And the world will be as ONE.
THE GOLD LINING
Today my Mom and I went for a walk and then went to The Vedanta Temple where we did Yin Yoga and meditated.
My Mom and I walk and practice Yoga every week together.
But it was the first time that we practiced at The Temple and it was truly beautiful.
While we were in there, a Divine handy man was working outside.
We had no idea what he was doing but we could hear him working away.
In the countless times that I have meditated at The Vedanta Temple there was only one other time when someone was working there.
They were scraping off all the old paint and repainting the magical Shangri-la.
It was a time in my life when I was going through a massive physical/mental/emotional clearing and the fact that the restoration on the Temple was happening while I was there meditating was deeply metaphorical for me.
When my Mom and I walked outside after our practice today we were immediately greeted by the handy man who was holding a very small paintbrush and was delicately painting a GOLD LINING around the door frame.
The metaphor was instantly recognized but became more poignant just thereafter.
My Mom thanked me for our session and said how much she truly enjoyed it.
I said, “You really dropped into the zone today.”
She said, “Well this is how I used to live all the time.”
I said, “I know. You are the one who first introduced me to Yoga and Meditation.”
And grateful tears streamed down my face.
I said, “My deepest wish for you is that you are in the zone most of the time and that you feel happy and content in your life.”
And she said, “I AM.”
And I felt the Truth in what she was saying in a way I have not experienced in a very long time.
We have been through some stuff in this life together.
Some loss, some tragedy, some deep sadness and some disappointments…
JUST LIKE ALL HUMAN BEINGS.
Then she said that she has come to a place where she is feeling more peaceful because she is doing her best to accept the things that she cannot change and then quoted the serenity prayer.
GOD GRANT ME THE SERENITY
TO ACCEPT THE THINGS I CANNOT CHANGE
COURAGE TO CHANGE THE THINGS I CAN
AND THE WISDOM TO KNOW THE DIFFERENCE
And she wasn’t just saying it.
She was embodying it.
And I felt it.
It was one of those moments when I felt like every shitstorm we’d been through transformed into a rainbow.
And every Yoga session we had ever done together broke through the clouds and we felt the Sunshine.
And that the scales of all of this Devotion and Prayer and Meditation and emotional cleansing and mega Humility and Love and Forgiveness and Gratitude that I have been doing my darndest to practice tipped into the Promised Land.
Today I received some of the profound merits of it all.
And in that moment, and still now, I feel:
A full circle.
A cycle completing.
And a new beginning.
Some people get silver linings.
MINE ARE GOLD ♥
One of my favorite ways of making a decision is what I like to call the 100% YES factor.
When I ask, “Do I want to go here or do this or that?” if the answer is not a resounding 100% YES then the answer is NO.
If the answer is “I don’t know or maybe” then as The Beatles say, “There will be an answer, let it be.”
Don’t try to force a YES.
A YES is a choiceless choice.
It arises from your core and from the certainty of your Soul.
If it doesn’t come from that place then your YES is not flowing from a pure and authentic place and it’s best to wait until you get a full-on YES.
As Lao-Tsu said:
Do you have the patience to wait
till your mud settles and the water is clear?
Can you remain unmoving
till the right action arises by itself?
The Master doesn’t seek fulfillment,
but not seeking, not expecting,
is present, and can welcome all things.
If you need clarity about a certain issue in life but are uncertain, then wait. Leave it alone. Allow things to sort themselves out. If you stir up a muddy glass of water, it will only get more muddled.
When you pause, get still and wait, a clear YES or NO will indeed arise in perfect time and then you can take right action rooted in the undeniable clear internal guidance of your Spirit’s wisdom.
