He was about 2 feet long and soul gazed with me for a few minutes.

Most lizards are masters of Chatarunga, the Yoga pose that looks like a push up.

But as you can see, this lizard Yogi is doing a different pose called Reverse Namaste with his front legs.

Have you ever seen a lizard do such a thing?
I have met many a lizard in my day and this was a first.

The full pose is bringing both of your hands completely together behind your back.

It’s a very advanced pose for a lot of people because it requires major flexibility.

This guy is still working on it like many Yogis are.

I was impressed to meet a lizard who had the courage to try something new and felt extra honored that he he was flowing the Spirit of Namaste to me…in his own special Yogi lizard kind of way.

And now that I really feel into him and his message for me, it was:

Send Namaste blessings to the past and everything that is behind me.

I sure am happy that he took a break from his countless push-ups to send me this age old timeless lesson that I continue to practice daily.

Some people stop and smell the roses to remember the important things in life.

Today I remembered what is truly important by stopping and soul gazing with the Lizard Yogi.
