A Cup of Tea with the General Manager of The Universe

Today I had the great pleasure of experiencing the most beautiful and delicately refined traditional tea ceremony hostessed by my dear friend Sara, a Master of connecting with the Medicine of Plant Spirits.

Drinking Tea, she says is one of the most powerful ways of connecting with the wisdom of the land, people and spiritual energy of the place where the tea that we are drinking grows and has the effect of awakening higher states of consciousness.

We first smelled and then sipped about 5 little cups of Oolong Tea that she acquired from a Chinese friend who travels all over the world questing for the finest organic teas.

Then we smelled and sipped about 5 little cups of a Pu-erh tea from China that had been aged for over 40 years.

Each sip we sipped awakened the part of me that is awake, aware, alive and deeply appreciative of each moment and I found my vibration continuously rising and settling into an embodied realm of sweet happiness, peace and calm contentedness.

Before she poured the last little cup of tea she said,

This cup is for a part of you, a loved one or anyone or anything that you would like to connect with more deeply.

During the last week of leading the Vibration Transformation Cleanse I found myself intensely aware of the part of me that I like to call The General Manager of the Universe.

I first heard that cute, funny and true term for the part of me that thinks I have all the answers, knows what’s right for me and everyone else and wants to control everything internally and externally while doing an Emotional Freedom Technique tapping session with my friend Kate.

During the Cleanse I discovered how deeply exhausting it is to be the General Manager of The Universe.

So I gave my 2 weeks notice and am currently going through the process of passing the responsibility of micro-managing the Universe back to, well, The Universe.

During the Cleanse the gift of a book arrived in the mail from one of my clients.

The book is called The Surrender Experiment by Michael A. Singer and I have been listening to the book on tape and highlighting my favorite parts in the book every moment I can.

In the book he asks,

Am I better off making up an alternate reality in my mind and then fighting with reality to make it be my way?

Or am I better off letting go of what I want and serving the same forces of reality that has managed to shape the entire perfection of the Universe around me?

The answer to me is clear.

So when Sara went to pour the last cup of tea, I knew she was pouring it for the General Manager of the Universe.

I picked up the cup and before it even touched my lips, the General Manager of the Universe said:

I AM AFRAID.

I asked:

What are you afraid of?

The General Manager of the Universe said:

I am afraid that if I let go of control and do not micro-manage everything and everyone that everything and everyone will go out of control and chaos will reign.

I asked:

Is that True?

The General Manager of the Universe thought about it for a second and simply said:

NO.

And ever since then, the General Manager of the Universe inside of my head has had absolutely nothing to say about anything.

Make Peace with the Sea

I AM IN AWE RIGHT NOW <3

I have all over body chills and tears in my eyes <3

This woman is one of my new superheroes and has tapped into a frequency that I vision myself fully embodying <3

Ever since some recent sightings of Great White Sharks in the glorious Santa Barbara ocean many people have been asking me:

“When you swim and surf in the ocean are you afraid of the sharks?”

And I say,

“I choose to LOVE all the creatures in the sea and know that the LOVE that I am keeps me harmoniously aligned with them all.”

When I was living in Indonesia my Dad took me on a 2 week trip around the Spice Islands and we lived on a beautiful boat and went diving 3 times a day.

In the days before our trip I dreamt of sharks every night and was feeling a lot of fear about seeing one.

Being the wise man that he is, he told me “There are a lot more sharks on dry land than there are in the sea.”

This message was delivered by the adventurous Soul who jumped into a swarm of thousands of mating hammerhead sharks and sank to the bottom of the sea where he watched the the aquatic love dance while breathing underwater.

Lo and behold on our first night dive on that diving in uncharetered Indonesian waters when all I had was a flashlight showing me what was only right in front of me, I spotted 3 giant sharks within the first minute.

Yes my heart quickened.
Yes I had a momentary holding my breath “OH MY GOD I AM WITH 3 GIANT SHARKS” all over body shivver.
And yes, I CHOSE LOVE and TRUST and SURRENDER.

And because I did I BECAME ONE with the sea and her wonders were revealed to me.

Their mission is to END THE WAR on sharks, whales, dolphins and other marine animals.

Let’s remember that the ocean was our original home.

We are all water beings here to embody and share LOVE with all of existence.

Shiva Shakti LOVELIGHTBLISS

It was 9 weeks ago on Shivaratri, the Hindu celebration of the Divine Union of the Beloveds that I sent out my clear intent for supreme blessings on my Beloved partnership with all of existence.

On that night I drew this picture of Ardhanarishvara, half Shiva/half Parvati, half woman/half man, the perfect blend of the opposite flows of energy, the Divine Lovers merged as one being.

Since then, there has been…

So much clearing of old ways of being that were holding me back from spiritual expansion..

So much cleansing of suppressed mojo.

This path requires sacrifice because not everyone is devoted to this level of consciousness.

It is a path that requires great devotion and courage.

One has to be willing to shed the old ways like a snake shedding it’s skin.

And lemme tell ya…there are some big ole detox moments at first when you want to cling to the old ways because you are going into unchartered territory.

You have to have Faith Supreme in the Supreme Force of Love and trust that the burning is going to set you free.

But it’s SO worth it because you create so much space to receive high octane LOVELIGHTBLISS.

More than ever, I am truly in awe of Love right now.

Love is the way and Love is the answer.

I am so grateful more than ever that this path of Fearless Radical Love is the way that I happily choose to walk through life.

And this is the truly amazing thing…

The first and foremost and foundational Beloved relationship is totally internal.

It is the Divine Union of the Divine Feminine and Divine Masculine within.

Just like this picture.

It truly is a state of being that is real.

And…it feels SO good and so right.

The high frequency Love that I am attracting from this internal energetic state of being is so pure and direct and obvious and beautiful.

It reminds me of my first memory (that some people say is not possible and a bunch of malarky but it happened because I was there….mmmmmmmk?).
My first memory was…

Being the egg and my #1 commitment was to allow ONLY THE BEST.
And…
Being the sperm and my #1 commitment was I AM THE ONE.

That’s how I got here.

Being the best that I can be and being the one is the perfect way to describe this Shiva Shakti Beloved Love.

It is the energy that creates life and magic and miracles.

So here I am…
I found everything inside of myself that I have been looking for outside of myself.

And now that I have it inside it is happening in more balanced, harmonious and super sweet ways than ever externally.

Today I am grateful for all of you Fearless Radical Lovers out there who are dancing this dance with me…because it’s a lot more fun to talk and breathe and dance and play with others who are on this path.

Thank you for doing the deep work and raising the bar on what is possible in our relationships with all people, places and things.

Being in right relationship with people that are willing and able (and we are all able if we devote ourselves) to work and play like this is a total turn on, so inspirational and clears the space so that LOVELIGHTBLISS and a whole lotta passion and play can prevail internally and externally on all levels, planes and dimensions.

And let’s remember what Marianne Williamson said:

“The revolution that will save the world is ultimately a personal one.”

It all begins within.

Be the best you can be…which means CHOOSE LOVE!!!!

You are the one that you have been waiting for.

An invitation to LOVE and BE LOVED…

LOVE is the Heart of all Spirituality and BELOVED LOVE is the most evolutionary and advanced path on the planet

Why is intimate relationship such a burning alchemical vessel for growth, healing, and transformation? One of the reasons is that in the mandala of the beloved there is nowhere to hide. All of your early trauma and wounding arose in an interpersonal context and must likewise be unwound within a relational field. Your beloved has appeared as this field, but she has also come promising the end of your world as you have known it.

If you have a partner who knows your early history, who is intimately familiar with your core vulnerabilities, and is compassionately attuned to its unfolding and illumination, you are teetering on the edge of cliff. But it is a cliff of grace. But this grace is on fire. On the one hand, a portal has been opened, your guide has appeared, to mirror to you the wholeness that you are. She will hold you and will relentlessly reveal to you the mysteries of your body, your psyche, your organs, your cells, and your nervous system. What a precious situation.

On the other hand, he is an emissary of the unknown. In his presence, universes come and go; there is no ground, no reference point to lean into; no matter how deeply you look, you find only empty space. Nothing is certain anymore. You are being held, but it is a holding that is unbearably vulnerable and without history. You stand totally unclothed in her presence, unable to fool him like you fool so many others, unable to pretend you have it all together. The beloved has no interest in your holding it all together. She wants all the way inside and will use whatever skillful means she must to find you. She will always push up against that which is unresolved within you. She loves you this much.

The beloved is mad crazy in love with you, but may not fit your historical requirements and ideas about what this actually means, about the true implications of having a beloved in your life. She has appeared as your tour guide into the secret areas of your body. If you follow her, your world will become unraveled, you will be taken behind the scenes where the relative world is being organized. The beloved sees you as you are and this is terrifying. In his presence, you are beheld as the majesty that you are, but this is unbearable. You come face to face with the greatest fear that you’ve ever known, but have never been able to articulate: that you are loved. For when you are truly loved, when you are entirely seen, when you are fully held, it is the end of your world as you know it. You will never be the same. You will never again be able to pretend that you are other than perfect and precious as you are. And this is terrifying.

You long to be loved, to be seen, to be held, but please know that the implications of this are immense; they are cosmic in proportion. To allow yourself to be loved in this way a part of you must die. Everything you thought you weren’t must be surrendered. You must let go of the stories of the unlovable one, the awakened one, the special one, the imperfect one, and the despairing one. Love wishes to reveal your nakedness, to remove your clothing, and to burn away all that is false and less than whole within you. What you are is a raging firestorm of creativity, sensuality, openness, warmth, and kindness.

Love will never stop until you know this.

If you will allow her or him, the beloved will show you the infinite ways that your heart is at risk of breaking open in any moment, and never, ever being put back together again. She will plead with you to let it all go, to fall on the ground, and to allow yourself to fall apart, so she can show you that you were never, ever together to begin with. She will reveal to you that this raw, tender, vulnerable open heart that you feel beating inside you – right here and right now – that this is your gift to the world.

Hold Your Sacred Space

Hold your space, keep your heart open, and believe in the ultimate perfection of all things, no matter how they look to you on the surface.

If you stay with you, what you desire for your Self, what you most require for inner peace and harmony, there is nothing in the world that can disrupt that focus. (Unless of course you allow your Self to be disrupted).
